Choosing the Right Chart Type — Final Drill
The toolbox recap
Line: comparison & long-horizon decluttering. Candles: patterns, wicks, exact levels. Heikin-Ashi: trend health, noise removal (never levels). Renko/P&F: structure without time churn. VWAP overlay: institutional intraday benchmark. Volume overlay: participation truth. Each answers a different question — the skill is matching question to tool.
The workflow
A disciplined daily chart routine: weekly LINE for regime → daily CANDLES for structure & zones → HA overlay/series for trend health → volume for confirmation → raw candles again for the trigger. Five minutes of this beats five hours of indicator-staring.
