Chart Review — the Week in One Chart
Structure recap
This week you learned: candle anatomy (open/high/low/close, body vs wick), what wicks mean (rejection), and trend definition (HH/HL vs LH/LL). Before moving to chart patterns next week, make sure these three are reflexes — every future pattern builds on them.
The self-test
Given any single candle you should be able to say in one sentence: who won the period, and how decisively. Given any sequence, you should spot HH/HL or LH/LL instantly. If not, reread days 2 and 4 — slow here means broken foundations later.
What you'll practise
Four candles: three green higher-high candles, then a tall red candle closing below the prior candle's open, on 3× volume. Most probable read?
